Starting from Ribeiro Frio (ER 303) and ending at Portela (ER 102), this 11km route typically takes 4-5 hours to complete. One of Madeira's oldest levadas, deep Laurisilva forest immersion, Ribeiro Frio trout farm. Currently closed due to landslide damage (January 2026). When open: narrow sections, can be muddy.
